Masjid Darul Iman’s first 3-day conference will focus on the theme of being an “Ambassador of Faith

Just what exactly does that mean? What does it mean to represent your faith? How do you represent your Islam?

This is the question many Muslim Canadians grapple with… so throughout our conference and workshops we are going to take lessons and have open Q&A sessions on the first Women of Islam, the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) and from the Holy Quran itself – on how to live your life and represent Islam – personally, professionally and as a Canadian.

The topics covered will focus on addressing the NEEDS of today’s society, today’s youth and our sisters – there will be talks on drugs and gangs, dating, the rights and responsibility of Canadian Muslims, the first women of Islam, serving humanity and living by example – being MUSLIM – living your faith is NOT a burden and these lectures will address today’s challenges openly for everyone.

Islam does teach us to proactively engage in our society, to honor our neighbors, to protect our environment and to enact positive change – so engage with an international roster of scholars from the UK, US and across the GTA in our Ask-Me-Anything style (open Q&A) sessions, our exlcusive Sisters-only program, workshops from the National Council of Canadian Muslims and Shaykh Abdul Raheem Limbada from the UK, plus our Youth night combining sports, deen and pizza.

Complimentary meals and daycare will be provided.

This first-of-its-kind event for Masjid Darul Iman ALSO includes:

  • Workshops by Shaykh Limbada (UK) on the 40 Hadiths and the Importance of Serving Humanity plus a workshop by the NCCM on the Rights and Responsibilities of Canadian Muslims plus by IDRF for our Youth focusing on Getting Job Ready and Women learning to Code
