SMILE and Nisa Homes Presents: A Community Workshop on Sexual Assault
This workshop will give the tools and information you need to teach children and youth of all ages about sexual abuse. Everyone will identify different forms of sexual abuse and understand the current landscape of sexual violence within Muslim communities.
Speaker: Sameera Qureshi, MScOT (c), Director of Sexuality Education & Training of HEART Women and Girls
HEART Women and Girls is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that seeks to promote sexual health and sexual violence awareness in Muslim communities through health education, advocacy, research, and training.
