Event Description

Join the Education Outreach Team from Naseeha Muslim Youth Helpline at their annual Educator’s Workshop!

Participants will explore workshops related to improving classroom practice, student engagement and how to maintain their own mental health and well-being.

Our keynote speakers, Amjad Tarsin, will remind us of our drive to be teachers and why we have chosen this noble profession, the profession of the Prophets. It is our hope that our participants leave feeling re-engaged and inspired to make a lasting, positive impact on their students.

Join us along with other educators, faculties and local Imams, as we collaborate and discuss the following 4 bearkout sessions:

Calming the Storm: Managing Anxiety & Stress in the classroom
Tackling ADHD & other exceptionalities in the classroom
Challenging Parents: Waking up from the nightmare
Social Techs & Porn: Breaking the Addicition

Breakfast and Lunch included.
