Refined Pearls Sisters’ Conference: Veiled and Victorious

August 19, 2017

MULTI-FAITH CENTRE, UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO

Event Description

The Prophet sallallaahu ^alayhi wa sallam informed us of a time where holding on to one’s imaan, will be like holding burning coal in one’s hand (ie, very difficult). The Prophet is truthful, and that time has come.

With all that is going on in the world today, the Muslimah is faced with many challenges and trials that must be handled with courage, patience and reliance on the Creator. This is done by learning the beautiful knowledge of Islam, so that one may have a strong foundation which will help them face all challenges in life in the best way!

Another excellent tool in doing this is analyzing the lives of the great women who came before us. Those who faced great hardships while bearing them patiently and fearlessly because of their unshakable faith: The role models for every Muslimah, such as the great Lady Maryam (mother of Prophet Isa), Lady Khadijah, Lady Fatimah, Lady Aa’ishah and others, surely these women attained the ultimate victory, which is success in the Hereafter. These women along with others are the very essence of our title: Veiled and Victorious.

Faatih Institute invites you to join us for an excellent opportunity to learn more about these great women while also increasing in Islamic knowledge! Join us for our third annual Refined Pearls Sisters’ Conference; Veiled and Victorious – the Great Women in Islam

It will take place on Saturday, August 19th 2017 at 1:00pm at the University of Toronto “Multi-Faith Centre” (569 Spadina Ave) on the 2nd floor.
