Course Description:
A lively, interactive and practical class for girls aged 13-16. Students will cover topics such as Quran, hadith, aqeedah, fiqh, seerah, Islamic history and contemporary issues, through a mix of inspiring presentations, lively discussions, energizing games and creative skill-building activities.
This class provides an opportunity to learn the deen, discuss daily challenges, and build lasting friendships in an informal learning environment.

About the Instructor:
Shehnaz Toorawa is a teacher with a degree in education from the University of Toronto. She also holds a degree in Islamic Studies from the American Open University. She has been involved in various educational initiatives in the Toronto community.
