Surat al-Baqara: An Introduction to the Quran

Located in the beginning of the Qur’an after a short prayer, Surat al-Baqara is the scripture’s largest chapter and the gateway to understanding its major themes and distinctive organization.  This course is an introduction to the Qur’an and will closely examine this chapter, providing students with the latest research and methodologies in order to better understand its structure and unifying theme(s).  The course is suitable for students at all levels.
