The Pickering Islamic Centre is a non-profit, charitable, religious, non-political and independent organization. It is located at 2065 Brock Road North, Pickering, Ontario, Canada. The prayer building is called Masjid-e-Usman. The House of Allah is sacred and inviolable, and shall never be sold, transferred or disposed of, except as permitted by the Islamic Shariah. The House of Allah shall be open to all Muslims.

The Pickering Islamic Centre shall:

1. Establish, maintain and conduct programs for teachings and instructions in fundamental and moral principles of Islam.
2. Carryout any and all activities according to the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.).
3. Maintain and conduct classes in Islamic education for children as well as adult Muslims, and to employ teachers and instructors thereof.
4. Establish and maintain a Masjid, wherein prayers shall be conducted in accordance with Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.).
5. Provide facilities for marriage according to Islamic traditions (Sunnah).
6. Acquire and maintain a Cemetery or part thereof and to provide other facilities for burial of Muslims.
7. Maintain close co-operation and foster brotherhood with other Islamic Organizations and reach out all others with fraternal spirit.
8. Print, publish and promote the aims and objectives of PIC.
9. Provide social services and family counselling to the Muslim Community.
10. Initiate and devise programs and projects for promotion of Islamic Dawah and dissemination of Islamic knowledge, both among Muslims and non-Muslims.

a) Weekly Dawah Meetings
b) Inter-faith dialogues
c) Sheikh Hasan’s Lectures in High Schools
d) Visits by High School Students – Imam’s Lectures, Q&A
e) Distribution of Islamic Books and Literatures,
free to Non-Muslims and Muslims on non-profit basis
7. Youth Activities (Age 13 – 23 years)
8. Community potluck
9. Hifz Class (Headed by Maulana Sheikh Waqas, specializes in Hifz)
